Built in 1820, this magnificent walkway has become one of Nice's most famous landmarks. Flanking the Bay of Angels, the walkway is the ideal place for athletic pursuits or a leisurely stroll, with stunning views of the sea on one side and the lush mountainside on the other. This boulevard is a must for Nice visitors and is perhaps the best way to experience some of the city's most beautiful scenery.

This square is the town's beating heart, where locals and visitors meet and mingle. There are shopping options and cafés along the northern side. Many of the elegant buildings and arcades are painted a stunning deep red, and, to the east, pedestrians are treated to magnificent mountain vistas. The square also boasts an elaborate fountain representing the nine planets of the solar system.
